The movie “The Great Gatsby” is a film
that is very national. The main character of the movie is Leonardo Givenchy. I
have seen this film several times. This film is also written as a novel. This
film talks about a character that is named Gatsby. The narrator of this film is
Nick Caraway.
Nick moved from the Midwest to West egg
seeking for his fortune. After that Nick wanted to visit his cousin Daisy and
her husband Tom. Her husband was very rich man. In that visit, Nick met a girl
that if named Jordan Baker. Daisy and Gatsby were engaged to each other. Their
love was very nice love. He loved her very much and she loved him. But due to
certain circumstances, like the war that they had passed through, they weren’t
able to be with each other, so Daisy decided to marry a very rich business man
which is Tom.
Gatsby returned from the war. He worked
hard to be rich and to live in the West Egg which is considered the rich area.
He worked in illegal things. In that
area Nick always hears of a good guy that is very famous and all of the people
talk about him. He made parties for all of the citizens in his house. He was
Great Gatsby. Nick noticed that his neighbor is Great Gatsby.
Nick and Gatsby became friends.
Gatsby’s goal was to retrieve Daisy and to live with her again. He bought a
house and he did the parties only to impress Daisy because Daisy loves wealth.
Gatsby asked Nick to invite Daisy to his house, in that way Gatsby would met
Daisy in Nick’s house. Gatsby and Daisy met in Nick’s house, and then they
moved to Gatsby’s house. Daisy was very impressed in the wealth that Gatsby
has. But Daisy left Gatsby’s house after recalling their memories.
After that, Daisy and Gatsby started to
meet each other from time to time. But one day Daisy and Gatsby were in the
same car. Daisy was driving and she killed a woman. That woman was Tom’s mistress.
The car was for Gatsby. But although daisy was driving, Gatsby decided to take
all the blame. But after that Tom told George, Myrtle’s husband, the woman who
was killed, that Gatsby was the driver. George went to Gatsby and killed him
and them he killed himself.
Nick was surprised from the story. He
moved back to Midwest.
